Project
The Soccer Formation website is a personal project, created to support my application for the UEFA B English FA football course. The website provides information in the form of guides for some of the most popular football formations, including 442, 4231, 352, 433, 343 and 4222.
The football formation guides have been developed alongside a role within a local football team. The information has been used within training sessions and on a match day.
Also available on the website are a series of articles, ranging from player roles and responsibilities (such as full-backs, midfielders and attackers) to the use of pressing and working in blocks (low, mid and high).
Performance
The website generates approx. 2k page views per month and is consistently in the top positions within Google for terms related to ‘soccer formations’ and ‘team formation’.
As of October 2025, the website has a domain rating (ahrefs metric) of 10.
